As part of a global team, this role will help drive analysis and profitability predominantly in the EBOB and Sing 92 gasoline markets while working alongside other international physical and paper traders. The ideal candidate would have an established network of regional/global contacts and a track record in building profitable, disciplined mental models focused on directional trading in timing, location, price, and relative value throughout the paper and/or physical curves.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Develop and communicate regional points of view, mental models, and trading strategies
- Allocate capital to gasoline and cross-barrel trading strategies in a disciplined process according to delegated risk authorities
- Maintain and further develop our information sharing both within the gasoline team and the other energy trading teams within KS&T
- Identify changing market regimes and their resulting impact on global gasoline markets
- Partner with and challenge our fundamental analysts to constantly evaluate supply and demand assumptions
- Serve as a regional expert; a trusted voice of authority in a particular market
- Originate ideas on how to deploy capital within the gasoline and broader energy space

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Proven relevant working experience in trading/refining/analysis/brokering/blending
- Previous experience successfully trading physical or paper gasoline preferred
- Knowledge of global gasoline markets and associated infrastructure especially in ARA/Med/AG/Sing
- This position is based in London though consideration would be given to Geneva or Singapore for highly-qualified candidates
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous experience building or operating a physical asset footprint is a plus
- Familiarity with global diesel and naphtha markets is a plus
- Past experience originating supply-and-offtake, take-or-pay, or other capital deployment strategies within the physical asset space is a plus

- Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude.
